Inventory Flow and Sales Facilitator

How You Will Contribute
The Inventory Flow and Sales Facilitator will take a critical role in managing inventory and driving store replenishment to maximize sales and profitability. The individual is central to the daily and weekly store goals and objectives by processing new receipts, shipments, and fulfillment across all channels. The individual will maintain an organized and pristine distribution center that also supports a pick-and-pack operation.

The Inventory Flow and Sales Facilitator orchestrates the flow of inventory to the sales floor throughout the day and acts as the standard for exemplary performance in organizational and customer service abilities. The individual can easily move from the distribution center to the sales floor in order to follow the critical need and priorities at the time. The individual fosters a positive environment on the sales floor and in the distribution center.

Must be available to work a flexible schedule including weekends, evenings and holidays as needed.

Specifically, you will…

  • Maintain a safe, organized, clean, and secure environment in the distribution center.
  • Organize product placement and maintain an accurate knowledge of inventory stock across all Retail locations.
  • Manage the creation and maintenance of replenishment processes to achieve Retail goals and targets.
  • Track receipts in and shipments out of the museum and ensure they are entered into the inventory system.
  • Ensure timely inventory flow into stores as needed.
  • Recommend replenishment and allocation system needs that improve results, reduce workload, and enhance engagement.
  • Investigate and reconcile inventory variances.
  • Test, train, and incorporate system enhancements; partner with Retail staff to resolve operational issues and inventory discrepancies.
  • Participate in positive work environment and take ownership in Retail’s functions.
  • Cross-train in all areas of the business to build depth.
  • Increase business acumen by learning and using sales reports.
  • Maintain store equipment and fixtures as needed.
  • Relay accurate product information and teach others to do the same.
  • Assist on sales floor as needed, and participate in other duties assigned.
